This policy explains how PlaylistGator, a sole proprietorship of Chris Maragakis (Paso Robles, CA), handles information.

What we collect

• Track lists you import (titles, artists, album, duration, ISRC). They are stored for 24 hours so checkout can reference them, and kept longer only for lists you paid to unlock. If you add an optional Spotify playlist link, we look up only its public name.
• Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We receive limited details from Stripe (e.g. checkout session ID, email address, payment and subscription status) but never your full card number.
• Technical data such as IP address and browser type in standard server logs from our hosting provider.
• Your browser stores a checkout session reference and your last list ID in local storage so your Unlimited plan stays unlocked.

How we use it

To provide results, verify purchases and subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information and do not use advertising trackers.

Service providers

Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, Workers KV storage, domain/DNS) and Spotify (optional playlist-name lookup). Store links take you to third-party sites with their own privacy policies.

Retention

Purchase records are kept as long as needed for access, accounting and legal requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@playlistgator.com . The Service is not directed to children under 13.
